It is such a breath of fresh air - quite literally! As a Londoner with easy access to Hyde Park and many others, I did not thing I would be as impressed as I was walking through the park, but I could not have been more mistaken! It was a lovely break from the city and such a peaceful experience walking all the way from the Lower West side to the Upper East side and took a lot less time to cover so much ground that I thought! I would highly recommend renting a bike if you're feeling like getting a little bit more exercise and covering more ground. Cannot wait to go back!

I've been there over ten times.
I've been there over ten times. You can never see it all! I use to stay close by and get a bus every day to a different place of it and just start walking. Love to sit in the shade to read and rest. During summer it's crowded, but anybody bothers other people and lots of street artists make your day!

The location for this hotel is fantastic for all first time visitors to New York. You're just a few blocks from Central Park, Times Square and the Empire State Building. There's also a large number of excellent restuarants near by so grabbing breakfast in the morning is really easy. Despite what I've mentioned in the negatives, I would still consider staying at this hotel and recomend to friends in the future purley for location and room size (whilst small, they're huge for New York standards!)
The hotel is located at the perfect location to experience New York, you are a few blocks from Macys and then a few more blocks to time square, central park is then a slightly longer but straight walk and have Penn station outside the hotel mean you can enter and leave New York Really easily, also your are walking distance to Noho and Nolita where you can take a break from touristy New York. The hotel is on the more basic end but in New York your not exactly going to spend lots of time in your room.
The location was perfect, we spend 4 days in new york and just walked three of them, because its so easy to reach many cool places like times square, empire state, central park, high line... by foot
Also so many good cafés and restaurants are in the area.
We really enjoyed our stay and this hotel played a big part in it.

I had relatively high expectations for this hotel due to the reviews I had read, and it easily met them. All staff were polite and very helpful. The room was a good size for Manhattan and the bed was large and very comfortable. The hotel was quiet, but still in an excellent location for the Rockefeller Centre, MoMA, Time Square, the Metro, Central Park and much more.
Great location: 5min walk from Times Square, 5th Avenue, Broadway etc.. and about 15min from Central Park. The staff are low key and efficient. The rooms are quite spacious, art deco and very comfy beds.
This hotel is great value for money and I would stay there again!
The hotel seems to have been renovated very recently. The room was very, very spacios for what you normally get in New York. The location was very good for accessing central park and the main atractions as well as restaurants in the area.
