Caution : If you are a real thrill ride seeker. Surely this is not a place for you. Just a couple of rides. Large part of the park is world Theme pavilions( like China ,Italy ,Rome ,Japan ,etc ) with local foods and regional souvenirs.
My fave theme park anywhere in the world. i just LOVE the world showcase. Book dinner in morocco to get a lakeside view of the fireworks and definitely do the fast pass so you can ride the best rides. Lunch in the underwater restaurant by Nemo is pretty cool too adn if u r staying for dinner elsewhere later jsut have a starter to get teh expereince. we did.
This was by far a terrible choice. I wouldn't recommend Epcot to anyone who is looking to go on actual rides and who wants any atmosphere whatsoever in the park. It is just a bunch of different themed restaurants with a few old-fashioned rides. Maybe worth a visit if you have a pass for all parks and want a day off from rides. I would not buy a ticket just for Epcot. It is boring and out-dated. We ended up having to get the monerail to another Disney park and buy more tickets when we got there.
We loved the Countries in miniature and the cuisines. We thought future worlds and the space rides. The fireworks is not to be missed. Wear comfortable shoes and pack waterproof for the sudden showers.
After visiting Universal Studios theme park, the rides here seem pretty mediocre, and the queues are really long. I guess it's targetted to families with younger children. The food and drink from around the world is good to experience, just way too much to choose from. Eat little bits and experience as much of it as you can.
Lots of walking. Park is huge! Take plenty of snacks & water for the day. Out of all of the Disney Parks, this would be a better one for older children (10 yrs & up) and adults. More educational & less of just storybook silly fun. Soarin' was our favorite ride by far! Lunch was great at Coral Reef!
Breakfast was great, The room was lovely with a great view of the Epcot fireworks. The pool and gym were decent
Visited Seaworld, Epcot and the fireworks display, Universal Islands of Adventure, caught a Blue Man Group show, went to the Don Garlits Museum of Drag Racing which is a real gem of a place, and had a fantastic day at Discovery Cove. Every single experience was excellent and filled a whole day with interesting & enjoyable things. We'll be back to Orlando, definitely!
All the parks are good for both kids and adults except Epcot Centre.
Purchased 2 day park hopper pass so we split time between Disney Hollywood and Magic Kingdom day 1 and all day in Epcot day 2. Used spare day to see many attractions I had never attended before such as IFly and others. Make sure you make reservations for restaurants in theme parks ahead of time (like prior day) or you may be closed out of those you wish to dine at. Make Fast Pass reservations first thing in morning and prioritize which of the most attended attractions you most want to see.
