Fix the monorail for the disable who can not walk to much from the tower of parking to the entrance of Disney. My husband who was willing to take it easy had no choice to walk that 30 min walk killed his foot.
Lines too long They have single riders lines but don't tell you about feature until after you wait in line for an hour Most beautiful at night Everything is over priced especially stroller rentals. Best to get a hotel in walking distance incase a nap break is needed for kids
Stay close by, we were able to catch hotel shuttle or could walk. Take plenty of time, we did 3 days and it was not enough to see all of it. Plenty of places to eat out of Disneyland. Make sure you buy tickets online to avoid queues.
Whatever you do, do NOT stay at the Staybridge Suites, Anaheim. Booking.com’s review of this property is very skewed and misleading. It does not look like the pictures at all. It’s dirty, it has no shuttle service, you have to get to the park by the Anaheim public bus service, they over charged us, no maid service, “call if you need towels”, the pool is not heated, it’s horrible, and we are presently stuck here now! Don’t stay here for your Disneyland trip, I don’t know where booking.com gets an “excellent “ rating for this property- holes in the curtains terrible lighting, the couch and pillows and carpeting is gross. I can say that the bathroom is nice. And there is a dishwasher and large refrigerator..... I will not stay here again. Too many down sides.
Get Max Pass. If you have anyone who wants thrill rides it's 100% worth it to not wait in lines all day. We are annual pass holders and we know our way around. We also recommended going in the off season. Summer is the worst time to go.
I would recommend buying the max pass & the fast pass if waiting is an issue for you. My daughters are 9years & 13years old. Not a single disagreement happened between them while visiting the parks. The variety of rides delivered many great surprises, so many to choose from. I would have enjoyed one more day.
The room was large compared to other hotel rooms. There was a mini coffee/tea maker that we can use if you wanted tea at night. Breakfast was good and the hot chocolate was tasty. There was a menu and buffet option if you want. They also had a deli that had rasberry cheesecake. They had a shuttle to Disneyland which was convenient. The location is close to downtown Anaheim, Anaheim Packing House if you want a variety of food and beers, and close to other museums.
Breakfast was full of options, perfect start before a long day at Disneyland. Cocos and Dennys (and a liquor store) all right next door making it very convenient for a quick dinner & a drink for in your room. Hotel is Just a short 30 min walk to Disneyland entrance or 20 mins to downtown Disney. The pool and hot tubs were a hit with the kids. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
This Westin Anaheim was clean and the rooms were generous. The pool looked beautiful but we didn’t get a chance to use it. The best thing about this hotel is that it is reasonable priced, a little bit luxurious and very close to Disney. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Disneyland as it was very convenient after a long days at the Parks.
This hotel was very comparable to other Hampton Inn and Suites I have stayed in. It was comfortable, the breakfast was pretty good, and the location was nice. I feel like a lot of hotels close to Disneyland are run down and I did not experience that at this location. The staff was also friendly and happy to answer any questions we had.
This is always a reliably good location for local stay. Courteous staff, clean accommodations and good communication regarding any changes or updates on Covid restrictions. The location can't be beat for easy access to the Anaheim Convention Center, Disneyland or local attractions. For class of hotel, all basics are covered.
A really great hotel with a very close proximity to Disneyland. Lovely to be able to take a break in the middle of the day and relax around the pool. Rooms were huge and the beds very comfy with a long list of cable channels available. Hotel decor was Californian Beach Chic and suited the area. Perfect for your Disneyland break.
This is always our go to hotel when going to Disneyland. We love that there’s a 2 bedroom option and that it includes bunk beds. The staff is always friendly. My kids love the breakfast too!
This hotel is all bout its proximity to Disneyland and having a reasonably comfortable sleep in the night.
The only reason I might consider this hotel again is it’s proximity to Disneyland
Hotel location is awesome, walking distance from Disneyland, rooms are confy.
Stay at a hotel within ten minutes of the park. Leave your hotel at least an hour before the park opens; you will avoid the huge lazy crowd coming in to the parking garage 1-2 hours after opening. It can take 45-60 minutes just to get into the parking garage during that time, so come early if you'd rather spend that time in the park. Weekdays are always better than weekends for getting on more rides, but the time of year is important, too. Try to avoid major holidays or vacation times such as Spring Break. Do the most popular rides as soon as the park opens when crowds are thinner; you won't have to wait as long. Try waiting 1-2 hours after the stereotypical "lunch" and "dinner" times to eat your meals in order to avoid a long line for food. Bring your own lunch and keep it in a locker to avoid such lines completely and save a few bucks. Snacks, food, and water are all allowed in the parks. Always wear comfy (not brand-new) tennis shoes for maximum walk-abilty. When you arrive, check the times for the daily parades and if you don't care about them, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, avoid Main Street and Fantasyland during that time!! If you are entering Disneyland during that time, you will not be able to get anywhere, the crowds take up the entire sidewalk and you will feel like a salmon trying to fight your way up against the current of people. Stay in California Adventure during that time if you have park hopper passes, or get some Main Street shopping done, because you will not get anywhere at all otherwise.
Take a special someone to Disneyland before you make little special-someone children. If you are both in decent shape and willing to power-walk around strollers, you'll be faster than most of the seemingly intimidating crowds. It's like a 16-hour hike but with air-conditioned pacing breaks for ghost pirates and talking cars. Maybe that's not your ideal date, but my special someone and I never tire of it. And our calves look fantastic.
Enough time in your trip to explore all that Disneyland contains other than just the rides, at least several days is good.
A hotel close to the park that is affordable, clean, safe, comfortable, and has plenty of parking, makes the time spent at Disneyland so much more enjoyable. Disneyland is always a pleasure, particularly when there are good bands playing on the property. An awesome hotel is like having home a short walk or drive away.
Be prepared to spend at Disneyland. There are shops outside Disneyland that offer souvenirs a lot cheaper. Bring your walking shoes.
We went to Disneyland and Californian Adventure in one day ,almost 10hrs at Theme Parks was to much for my poor old legs , however our teenage daughter's would have stayed for 24hrs. Longer at each Park would have been better .. 2-3 days
