I was not sure who owned the property. My family made a special trip to visit the garden by taking 1 hoir train ride to the garden. Since it was 2 days before Christmas the weather was not cold and windy. At the gate we found out it would cost us around $150 for our family to to see a garden where no flowers blooming and everything looked grey. Bu honest mistake we entered a building to use the bathroom. Behold there were 4 staff members standing outside accused us trespassing. We had the most horrible customer service experience ever.

This is a place well known for the big events that are hosted in NYC and it is kept up very well and clean and well guarded , you are not able to actually go in unless there is an event but it is a nice place to tale pictures and there are some many great restaurants in the area so its a win win all around!

If you are disabled in any way it is very hard to maneuver...
If you are disabled in any way it is very hard to maneuver around. When event is over they close most elevators and make people with canes stand around waiting, instead of opening all elevators. It was awful and both myself and everyone in line also felt it was a fire hazard.

Go and watch a hockey or NBA game. Plan to be there 1 hour in advance. Make sure you have eaten before going there. A bottle of water costs 6 dollars, a pint of beer 14 dollars, popcorn 6 dollars.... It is very expensive to eat or drink there. But the atmosphere is amazing!

Location was PERFECT. We got the train in from Newark airport and arrived into Madison Square Garden stop which is directly across he road from the hotel. Extremely easy to do this commute and much more cost effective and timely than getting a taxi.
We upgraded to a Suite room with a balcony - however it was so cold in January we didn't really go outside. We stayed on the 22nd floor - the decor is very tired but clean.
We got breakfast in the Diner on the ground floor each day which was great.
Location: not too far walk from Times Square. Madison Square Garden just around the corner
Room: Clean, spacious and bright bathroom
Bed: Large and comfortable
Staff: check in was smooth, staff were always helpful and welcoming. Bar staff friendly and helpful
Bar: Good atmosphere, modern and sophisticated. Good selection of food and drinks
Great location right next to Penn Station and Madison Square Garden.
Easy access to subway and LIRR trains, great place to stay.
Paying more for the room with the downtown view was definitely worthy.
Location is great especially if going to madison square gardens or times sq. Spacious room and the inclusion of fridge and microwave was really good to have. Black out blinds were great and very quiet.
