The Sheraton Plaza provided a great, central Capitol Hill location on the 16th Street Mall, a pedestrian zone with free bus service to/from Union Station. Nice personnel, plus a clean spacious room and bath and very comfortable bedding. The ice-filled tubs of bottled water at the entrance were a nice touch for guests on our way in or out of the hotel. It was also nice to have the Enterprise car rental location so close, just across the street at the adjacent Sheraton Tower.
I chose the hostel because downtown hotels were so outrageously overpriced. The hostel is very easy to get to from the airport - light rail to Union station - and then the 0 bus, which stops right across the street from the hostel. Staff were friendly and helpful - except for the annoying habit they have of banging on the doors like they are conducting a police raid. A gentle knock would have sufficed, especially given that this happened at 6:30am!!!!
A large, modern, and very well-kept apartment with everything you need. It was great having a lounge and kitchen - much better than a hotel! Arrival was easy, and the instructions provided beforehand were perfect. Communications prior were great, with responses almost immediate. The best part however was the location - only a few minutes walk from Union Station, near lots of excellent restaurants and shops!
The dinner restaurant was excellent, especially our server who was also the bartender. Friendly but not interrupting. Just right. The 16th Street Mall Tram is free and connects to Union Station. It is 2 blocks from the hotel. I wish we could have stayed long enough to eat in every one of the restaurants in the mall!
Staff were very friendly and helpful: a problem in the room was fixed immediately. The hotel has a shuttle bus that goes to three downtown locations (Union Station, Convention Centre, and 21st Street) every hour between 7am and 10pm. The room was large and comfortable, with a microwave, coffee maker, and hot iron.
Functional hotel close to the airport, free shuttle to terminal building (not running too regularly) Uber airport to hotel circa $14. Room was comfortable and quiet. Not a destination hotel more of a stop over. Could not find public transport to Denver and end ed up ubering it to Union Station, 30min, $28.
Easy to get this hotel because It is located on the 16th street where free bus is running. Also, it is not too far to walk from the Union station, as well as from Civic center. The room was cosy and the bed is very soft. The staffs are all friendly.
The location is very good, near the Union Station and a super market is in front of the hotel. Free city bus service is available within walking distance.
