Jacamar Lodge Expeditions

The Jacamar Lodge Expeditions is located on the banks of the Amazon River, in the middle of the jungle and 120 km from downtown Iquitos.

It is a rustic hostel that offers a variety of activities in the river and jungle. Jacamar Lodge Expeditions's bungalows are built with rustic materials and have private bathrooms, a terrace overlooking the river, mosquito nets and kerosene lamps. My husband and I had an amazing time at Jacamar Lodge! The food and hospitality we recieved was absolutely fantastic ! We spend three days at the lodge and did two full day tours into the Amazon. Miguel was our tour guide and made sure that we experienced the Amazon in full. We saw sloths, tucans, parrots, tarantula, piranhas, monkeys and pink dolphins. I recommend Jacamar Lodge and would definitely stay there again on a return trip.
