Just 20 metres from the beach of Hersonissos in Crete, Aris Studios offers self-catered accommodation with free Wi-Fi and balcony with views of the Cretan Sea. The traditional harbour of Hersonissos is 100 metres away. This place is owned and managed by some finest human beings. They provided us a lovely dinner exactly homemade stuff. We had to prepone our journey due to cancellation of ferries and despite the last moment, they charged us only for days occupied by us.

Only 100 metres from the nearest beach in Hersonissos, Arminda Hotel & Spa is an all-inclusive 4-star hotel. It features 4 large salt-water pools with 2 separate children’s sections. The spa centre offers a sauna, hamam and hot tub.

Arminda Hotel is 2 km from Hersonissos centre and 40 km from Heraklion Port. Nikos Kazantzakis International Airport is at 38 km. Free parking is possible at a location nearby. It probably is the ideal family luxury all-inclusive hotel in the area. With a very good price/quality ratio, it offers what it takes for a family to relax. The facilities are spotless clean including in all pool areas. The food is generous but also very tasty and diverse. Most of all the staff was of exceptional friendliness always eager to help and accommodate. The kids are super-nicely taken care off with multiple pools that are on a human scale and not too overwhelming. The rooms are spacious enough to accomodate a family of 4 (+ toddler) and are excellently serviced every day. Parking is very convenient. Access to the beach required 3 Minutes walk within enclosed premises (no road to cross). Location-wise, it is very well located, suffiently aside from the too noisy parts of Hersonissos and Malia but still within reach. What we liked a lot is the fact that the exit to the VOAK highway linking to all other parts of Crete is very close-by. it was very easy to reach the airport, Heraklion, Knossos but also Elounta, Spinalonga and Agios Nikolaos on the east side.

Cleopatra Apartments is a complex of apartments and studios situated in Hersonissos. It features a freshwater pool surrounded by free sun beds, a pool bar, an indoor bar and a reception area. Free WiFi access is provided throughout.

Each self-catered with sea or pool view, the air-conditioned studios and apartments have a well-equipped kitchenette with fridge and balcony or terrace. Cleopatra was very welcoming, it was really homie and cossy. The location is perfect. Really good value for the money

Situated at the heart of lively Hersonissos, family-run Erofili offers free Wi-Fi access. The property is just 2 minutes' walk from a sandy beach.

Erofili Apartments are spacious and air conditioned. Each has a kitchenette with refrigerator. Other facilities include a TV and a safety box. All units have a balcony overlooking the mountains, the sea or the countryside. Some bathrooms are equipped with hydro massage. Some are also equipped with a sauna. Theo and the other owners of the Erofili Apartments were so wonderful! Contacting them was easy prior to and during our stay with quick responses. They were friendly, extremely helpful and had some great recommendations. The apartment is in the perfect location to walk to restaurants, bars and even the supermarket. We loved staying here!

Only 50 metres from Hersonissos Beach, this studio/apartment complex offers spacious accommodation with fully equipped kitchenettes and satellite TV. It has a swimming pool with sun terrace and children’s deck and a snack bar. Very good hotel near to the center, 8min from the beautiful stalis beach and 30min from heraklion. The studio is very clean and confortable with everything you need. Meni has to be the kindest host ever. Highly recommend it.

Thalia deco City & Beach Hotel is on the east side of Hersonissos, within 500 metres from the town centre, 70 metres from the sea, and only a 10-minute walk from the picturesque villages of Koutouloufari, Piscopiano and old Hersonissos.

Thalia’s sun terrace located by the fresh-water swimming pool is equipped with free sun beds and a pool bar which serves refreshing drinks. From the minute we arrived to our departure we felt so welcome and valued. The hotel is beautifully decorated and has a safe, calm almost spiritual feeling. The staff give 100% to make your stay enjoyable and they did! The hotel is spotlessly clean, breakfast was lovely with a vast array of fresh fruits, pastries, meats and cheeses etc. The location is ideal - just off the main road where you can find restaurants, shops, bars etc. You can reach the beach in under 5 minutes. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return for longer next time! if you are travelling alone then I have no hesitations in recommending Thalia hotel as you will be looked after with great hospitality.

Just came back from the super great vacation at Villa Sonia: Very clean room with everything you need. Excellent room clean lady. Best location, balcony with sea view. Super nice owner of this hotel, very helpful, she made us feel like at home. It was really the best booking experience, I love crete.

With garden views, this accommodation features a patio. Ηospitality, good and helpful mood of the owners are the best aspects of the place. A very good choice for a summer-house away from the fussy, expensive resorts and be just a breath from Hersonissos life, as well as a nice coastal suburb as a base to visit other nice places in Heraklion and Agios Nikolaos.
