Hôtel & Spa Les Sept Fontaines Best Western Premier 4 stars

Hotel in Tournus

Hôtel & Spa Les Sept Fontaines Best Western Premier features a restaurant, fitness centre, a bar and garden in Tournus. Fantastic place to stay during the pandemic. We stayed here during a long drive across France as there was a 6pm curfew in place nationwide. The in-room meal was delicious and fairly priced, and they were extremely helpful accommodating our baby (and dog!) at the last minute. Very friendly and professional staff. Highly recommended. Would stay again!

Le Globe

Hotel in Meursault

Le Globe features air-conditioned accommodation in Meursault. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, room service and a concierge service, along with free WiFi throughout the... A wonderful ´new’ hôtel in a characterful old building in the heart of pristine Meursault. It looked nice online but the pics don’t do it justice. It was our north-south stop-over, yet is one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. The bedroom was large, air-conditioned and decorated with an African theme. The bathroom was pristine. And then to dinner. Fabulous local meat, veg, cheese and of course wine. And the staff were consistently lovely too.

Domaine de Vandenesse & Spa

Hotel in Vandenesse-en-Auxois

Domaine de Vandenesse & Spa has a restaurant, bar, a shared lounge and garden in Vandenesse-en-Auxois. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. The host was extremely friendly and welcoming from the first moment that we arrived. The common areas and rooms were also very clean. The kitchen and shower slightly dated, but in top condition and clean! The bed was overall comfortable, however just a little short (but did not negatively affect sleep). The area is quiet and beautiful and had good restaurant options within a short drive. The host offered a free wine tasting and explained also about the wines and was so accommodating! Would highly recommend!

FAQs about hotels in Burgundy

Picturesque Land of Wine and Quiet Abbeys

One of the world’s most famous wine-making regions, Burgundy, has fascinating history and beautiful landscapes. Stunning Romanesque architecture, delicious cuisine and great cycling routes make it a great holiday destination!

Jump on the TGV train in Paris or Lille and start your journey through Burgundy from the region’s capital, Dijon, a thriving city with the world-renowned International and Gastronomic Fair. It was also the birthplace of the original Dijon mustard.

From Dijon, you can explore the entire Côte-d'Or department, the best known part of Burgundy, which produces the world’s finest and most expensive Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines. Make sure a bottle of its quality product accompanies dinner consisting of one of the region’s specialties: coq au vin or beef bourguignon.

For a different kind of a spiritual experience, visit the historic abbeys, including the Vézelay Abbey in the Yonne department, featuring Mary Magdalene relics and for many, a starting point of their pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela.

Outdoor lovers can enjoy cycling alongside the region’s picturesque canals or admiring them from the widely available cruising barges. The lovely Morvan Regional Natural Park provides great routes for a quiet hike.

After a day spent in the vineyards and nature of Burgundy, one needs a place to put their head down. Booking.com offers a great variety of over 600 properties in the area: from a luxury chateau to smaller boutique hotels.
