The property is a reflection of a visionary management. My stay just changed my perspective on what is the potential of hospitality industry in Kerala, and the wider India. Everything is perfectly managed. The team at the property is just amazing and comforting to say the least. The management has kept them happy it seems. The team truly a dream team from a Management perspective. The naturalist on site just adds to the overall experience. Excellent food and activities. No need to get outside of the property if staying for 2 days.

Restaurant food was excellent. Gym is small but equipped with all necessary equipment's. The main area has lots of seating to entertain visitors. The staff were excellent, multilingual and very nice. The front desk was supported by Mr Vineeth who ensured smooth processing. The chef Mr Rijo was great & provided a blend of Kerala, north Indian & continental cuisine. Mr Jishnu was ensuring all my visitors were comfortable and ensured regular top up of tapioca chips to keep them engaged. It was a homely stay of 6 days.

Property was very well maintained and impeccably clean. Decor was excellent with lot of wooden elements. Swimming Pool and other activity area was always kept clean. Service was very warm and quick. Mr. Ramesh and all other staff were super efficient and genuinely worked to make the stay comfortable. Sometimes, they went out of the way to make our stay comfortable. Breakfast spread was nice and had good mix of continental, Indian and local (Kerala) options to choose. Generally tasty food but not too spicy.

Comfortable rooms. Good crew. Superb continental , Indian & Kerala preparations for Buffet breakfast. Gym was well equipped. The lady at the reception agreed to keep the fresh cream cake which I had bought from Lulu mall refrigerated overnight , since I had to present it the next day to my future daughter in law's family. Though the Manager refused at first , she convinced him and better sense prevailed. I really appreciate her kind gesture. Lulu mall at walking distance is an added attraction.

The Family. I felt like home and was treated like a prince. The Location. Green Chromide homestay is peacefully located by the river. Nice to swim in. The room is spacious, very clean and comfy. The Facilities. They provide free canoe and bicycle so I could enjoy even more the Island. The hosts organized a early morning canoe tour on the lake and canals. Feels like Venice in India. Beautiful sceneries. Well worth it. The food. Each meal Sunaina and family prepared (Kerala dishes) is delicious.

The communication with Edwin the host was brilliant. He supplied me with information very quickly.. for example, the visa requirements. He was also very attentive and made sure that I was okay. As a woman travelling alone .. this was reassuring. The location was great. I expected it to be more touristy (commercial) but it wasn't even though it was very close to the beach. For anyone visiting India for the first time - Trivandrum .. and the State of Kerala .. are a great starting point.

We loved the hotel for several reasons: it captures the essence of Kerala with the wooden furniture, and the aesthetics done in a modern way. The food (dinner and breakfast) at their restaurant was also very delish! I was so happy to see so many vegetarian options. The staff were sweet and helpful and room service was very quick. They had someone playing live acoustic music in the afternoon which added to the entire experience. We will definitely return back :)

Hotel located in beaufitul tea / cardamom plantation. Waking up every morning with singing birds and beautiful views to the greenery. Dinner in the hotel was every night delicious with plenty options. Same counts for breakfast, super amicable staff surprised us every morning with different Kerala dishes to try, besides the things we ordered. Hotel stuff was very helpful in organizing tours in the area and taking us around.

Johnson was an excellent host, giving us lots of local tips. The place was well located and the room was good value with a balcony. Breakfast was simple - eggs, jam and toast. The real highlight of the trip was Johnson's houseboat, which was a superb way to visit the backwaters of Kerala. The food on board was the best we had in India and the bedroom was larger and more comfortable than we were expecting.

The owners are such a nice family. Lovely kartika help us in every way possible and her mother cooked us tasty kerala home food. They gave us a lot of privacy, even though we were inside the house. They were very considers of our schedule and the room was extremely cleen and comfortable for 2 people. Munroe is one of the best places we visited in India so far we highly recommend this home stay!

Location was perfect for stay. Peaceful area and fresh air all around. Breakfast served was authentic and pure Kerala dishes which were good in taste. Our Host Shyam was an exceptional guy. He co-operated with us very well and provided the best rooms available. Loved staying there and will prefer anyone who is reading this review to go ahead and book this hotel without second thought.

Extremely clean room and toilet. Hot water. Beautiful Kerala breakfast that tastes delicious and feeds me full. Walking distance to main sights. Sunset at Chinese Fishing Nets was breathtaking. Helpful host Henry arranged for me to get Airtel SIM card with his friend Lavin. Both are honest men. A smooth experience landing in India. Felt safe as a solo female traveller.

Best hotel in Thrissur. Very clean room with good ventilation. The hotel staff are very friendly and affectionate. Overall staying there was a good experience. Gym and authentic Kerala SPA is available, neat and clean and well within budget. Food is great and room service available. Hotel staff are very cool, and greatly helpful. Location wise hotel is very near to Sultan Bathery town (2.2 km). Car parking is available too. Best thing was rooms are quite big and good amount of space, I would say better than 4 star hotel.

Beach Hotel is a heritage property right on a sea side boulevard, adjacent to Calicut's lively main beach. Formerly a gentlemen's club with bar and restaurant. The former being a rare commodity in Kerala and a cold beer on the lawns of property after day's work ways appreciated. The staff are very accommodating especially Vishnu at the front desk.

The best view in Munnar/Kerala/Possibly India! It's right by an amazing viewpoint that people drive to, but you get that view all day long; particularly nice with breakfast. Very helpful manager, who runs the place, arranges tours, and cooks all the delicious food. You can step out and be instantly in tea plantations. Great treks nearby.

As I drivered very late during the night I choose an hotel next to the airport. Waouh what a nice surprise. Beautiful place, a park and a wonderful big room made in wood and so well decorated. Then the breakfast the next day so tasty and I also got me an ayurvedk massage. great!!! Steamed coffer after the massage They made my first day in Kerala

The food was the best Kerala cuisine that we have had in a long time. Chef Maria was a delight and took special effort to take feedback from us. The coconut pudding was amazing! The decor is very tastefully done. Loved the paintings and the entire feel of the place. Will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Kochi.

Very well taken care of, newly renovated with heritage furnishings. Especially enjoyed talking with Gloria, at the front desk. Our every need was anticipated. Sad it rained and we couldn’t dip in the pool. Gorgeous, boutique home away from home. Order samosas, lady fingers curry, Indiana pizza, and Kerala coconut and jaggery dessert

The rooms were spacious and clean....The Hotel was very near to the calicut beach side that you can just reach the beach in 5 minutes walk. The buffet breakfast was ok with a few dishes including some kerala disches, roti and dal, boiled eggs, cornflakes and bread and butter/jam. Altogether a good stay which we enjoyed well.
