The apartment’s location is outstanding - right on the beach! The downstairs apartment is very stylish, clean and comfortable. Perfect for a couple. Be aware there isn’t any parking and best to drop bags off at end of road and park in paid parking nearby. Approach the accommodation from the beach-front walkway as we had trouble locating it from the pedestrian-only village.
We got locked out when the wind blew to door shut - the lovely owner had to drive a half hour from his home to let us in. Separate the front door key from the key-card to prevent this.
This really is a special place, book it if available.

Clean, wide, beautiful and absolutely well-equipped apartment in Kastrì, with garden, patio and barbecue and wood oven area. We had wonderful breakfast with stunning sea-view, and during the night the starry sky was simply amazing. Just a few minutes walking from the bakery and the best restaurants on the island. If you are a hiker, from here you can reach everything (we want hiking to ampelos, potamos, vatsiana, korfos etc etc). Our heart is still in Gavdos and Kalypso Apartments.

Plokamianá
Located in Plokamiana Village of Chania, Viva Elafonisi is a traditionally-built, split-level house with a terrace overlooking the surrounding mountains. The famous Elafonisi Beach lies within a 10-minute drive from the property. Super friendly and kind hosts, we appreciated a lot the cookies that the lady did for us every day. The cleaning was well done every day Plenty of facilities, the kitchen has everything you need. Lot of trip tips on their website. Close to amazing places.
Agia Pelagia
Located in Agia Pelagia, within 50 metres of Lygaria Beach, Dora Apartments offers self-catering accommodation with free WiFi access and partial or unobstructed views over the Cretan Sea. Taverns, bars and mini markets can be found within a short walk. This place is the first I've seen in Crete from many, of 9 and above score that really deserves it. The room was spacious and had a newly furnished bathroom. Very quiet and private. The town was cute and lovely. Small harbour, nice pebbely beach, lots of places to take a walk and sit on benches enjoying the view of the sea and town. Quite a few tavernas to have a meal.

Just a short walk from the beach, Pasithea villas offer indepedent villas located in Frangokastelo Village. The property is 2.3 km from Fortress of Frangokastelo. Free WiFi is available, while free private parking is also possible. Each flat has its own terrace.
Omalós
Situated among lush greenery, Omalos Village offers stone-built villas that open to a patio with views of the surrounding mountains. Free WiFi is available throughout, while Samaria Gorge is 3 km away. Lots of space and privacy, prompt key delivery. Amazing view and great location for getting to Samaria Gorge, Google Maps were misleading the last turn though.
Xerokampos
Following the local Cretan architecture, Lithos Traditional Guest Houses offers fully equipped apartments decorated with unique 19th century antiques, within a short walk from the nearest beach. The apartments feature a fireplace and views to the Libyan Sea or the garden. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. Very clean cozy place. We felt like home. Close to one of the nicest sandy beaches of the area. Beautiful building, it stands up in the landscape. The apartment had all that we needed. Just the perfect place to stay.
The villas are perfect - everything you need and very clean and well equipped. Very quiet location - perfect if you want to get away from it all. Nice beach a few minutes walk and there are a couple of tavernas just a few minutes walk too that serve delicious food - you really don't need to go anywhere else!
A really beautiful holiday villa, just outside a delightful village. Irini was a wonderful host - she responded to all queries extremely promptly, and could not have been more helpful. The outside space is excellently designed, and the setting, with views across the hills and down to the Aegean, is idyllic. It could not be more perfect for a family with young children, especially as the swimming pool is shallow - but it was fine for us with our two older sons (12 and 15).
Luxurious villa, big pool, great views and extraordinary hospitality & service. The villa was clean and fully equipped. Loved the BBQ and breakfasts on the terrace. It was much more then I’ve expected while making the reservation. Photos do not do justice to this place. Every detail of our stay was perfect. The villa is located in a quiet neighborhood so we could fully relax. Beautiful sea view was something I will remember for a long time. Highly recommended!

A quiet place in the mountain. The owner and local residents were very friendly, the rooms clean & tidy with comfortable beds. Great breakfast in the tavern near the villas.
The perfect relaxation getaway. In a tiny remote little village surrounded by mountains, lush greenery and winding roads. But only ten minutes drive away from a strip of restaurants and bars along the sougia beachfront. You definitely need a car for this stay as a ten minute drive turns into an hours walk which you wouldn’t want to do in the gorgeous heat. The staff and the hotel itself are amazing, nothing is too much trouble for them. 10/10 all round, would recommend to anyone!
The villa was fantastic, spacious luxurious high spec, the beds were very comfortable, the pool was a great temperature, best villa we have stayed in. The best thing was the owners, they were so friendly and kind and made the stay extra special, if you want a truly special villa near Chania this is the one.
